In 2018, Emerging Public Leaders of Ghana was launched. It runs a two-year Public Sector Fellowship that equips high-achieving university graduates of Ghanaian nationality with transferable leadership skills to drive positive change in the Public Sector and beyond.
In partnership with the National Service Scheme (NSS), completion of the first year of the EPL Ghana Public Sector Fellowship fulfils the mandatory NSS requirements.
EPL Ghana through a meritocratic process recruits 20 applicants, runs them through an Orientation and places them into different Public Sector institutions.
These top-performing professionals within their roles in the Public Sector organizations are afforded; monthly professional training, robust supervision and mentoring, career support and development.
Over the years we have successfully run 4 Cohorts of the Public Sector Fellowship placing 80 eighty driven and exceptional Public Sector Fellows.
In 2023, EPL Ghana started a unique one year Public Sector Fellowship for individuals 32 years and below. This program recruited 25 young professionals to improve governance in the Public Sector and Policy-influencing organizations. These young individuals have shown up and shown out, the records for are outlined in our Impact.
