Elevated MINDS
Elevated Minds project is a structured school-based career development and readiness programme designed to equip Junior High School and Senior High School students with the skills, knowledge, values and exposure required to make informed educational and career decisions and successfully navigate key transitions into tertiary education and the world of work. Implemented in partnership with school authorities and the Ghana Education Service (GES), the project will engage studentsacross 3 public schools in the Eastern, Volta and Greater Accra Regions respectively. Through experiential learning modules, mentorship and career exposure activities, the initiative strengthen critical thinking, ethical leadership, research skills, public speaking, and career planning capacities.

Preparing Students for Education and Work Transitions
The project is strategically aligned with EPL Ghana’s mandate as an organisation committed to championing ethical leadership and youth leadership development. The project therefore seeks to nurture leadership competencies, ethical values and integrity among young people at an early stage. The project s intended to serve not only as a platform for helping students identify and prepare for future careers, but also as an early leadership development pathway that encourages young people to recognise their potential, develop positive leadership attributes, make ethical choices, and prepare themselves to assume responsible leadership roles in the future. The concept for the Elevated Minds Project is also informed by lessons and experiences from the Women on the Rise Project Leadership and Empowerment Tour through which Senior High School students were engaged on the importance of gender diversity, inclusion, and equitable representation in leadership within their schools and beyond
Career Development
The project will establish structured career clubs across the selected schools and will adopt a blended, competency-based and experiential learning model combining structured in-person workshops, mentorship, career exposure, practical exercises and student-led activities. The programme will cover four thematic areas: Communication & Professional Skills, Tech & Personal Branding, Leadership & Character development and Digital Skills & Digital Careers Through the programme, students will participate in career exploration assessments, career pathway guidance, public speaking and communication training, research and problem-solving activities, ethical leadership exercises, mentorship, tertiary preparation clinics, interview simulations and the development of individual Career Development Plans.
